Please help, please! For my 3 year old leghorn chicken has an internal layer and need to give her

Hello, I am a new and need to know what kind of antibiotics my sick hen needs.

After I read the article of my hen's problem,

I went to the fish store, and they didn't sell that. So, my husband told me that T.C. Tetracycline is as same as the penicillin.
Is it right?
I want to make her feel better...

I give her a steam bath several times, and a hot bath for 20 minutes that she likes everyday, and insert some mineral oil using the syringe that is sanitized every time.
After I gave her some mineral oil in her vent, her poops like this.
Is it okay?

I feed her homemade Greek yogurt, homemade dried garlic that has also contained a lot of eggyolks in, eggshells, hard boiled egg yolks and so on. She doesn't eat any of her regular food.

What is the yellowish stuff?

She was really ill 3 days ago, but she acts better now and cleaning herself often.

It is very helpful!

That yellow stuff looks like an egg that broke and has gone rancid. Email the Dr. again and ask if a broader spectrum antibiotic like Baytril would be better. If he says yes then send me a PM and I'll reply with a link you can get it at.

I didn't read it to the end.... Now I did.

Well, I thought that the dropping is a cecal poop..










most of the time, her droppings are like that.

What do you think about these droppings? hmm... That is not good news if the eggs are rotten inside of her.

Thank you, 1muttsfan! That is right. I heard from one of my friends who keeps hens and roosters and goats after . She helped and save one of our chicken who has a pendulum crop. She is 3 years old and still alive and very active.
Phew,, I am glad that I didn't use it.

1muttsfan is right that the tetracycline is not the same as penicillin, but the tetracyline although not the best drug, can still treat E.Coli and most bacteria that can cause peritonitis in hens. The same site that sells the penicillin also sells enrofloxacin (Baytril.) From what I have read about the different types of peritonitis in hens, drugs will have little effects in the long run. Speckled Hen here on BYC, has several informative threads about egg yolk peritonitis and internal laying if you have the time to search them here on the forum.
