The Detective and I both agreed: Squeaky wheel gets the grease. I guess that I should've called first, since:
Livestock
IC 15-17-18-8
Animals running at large
Sec. 8. (a) Except as provided in subsection (b), a person responsible for livestock or
poultry who knowingly or intentionally permits the livestock or poultry to run at large
commits a Class B misdemeanor.
(b) Subsection (a) does not apply to a person who keeps livestock on property by
means of a cattle guard or another device under IC 8-17-1-2.1.
As added by P.L.2-2008, SEC.8

I guess we're both criminals! And BTW, The State is going to send an inspector over to Providence Wildlife. I sure hope everything is okay. I know it is not overcrowded. Afterall, they are giving their xtra ducks to you!

Its going to snow 4" inches tonight and lows continue to be in single digits. SO lets all go home and make sure our animals are safe and sound... well except your ducks and geese they will be out on the pond.

That detective is the one who wanted to charge you with theft and I told them in the case file to note to your city police not to press charges if I get my birds back, FYI.

You can still be charged I just don't deem it necessary.

Also you may not know this but waterfowl live in the water. Snow is a form of H20. They will have water to swim in, lots of it. The ducks often peck at the snow and in Alaska where they're kept on duck ponds and Canada where it is far colder and they receive far more snow ducks will thrive as mine do for up to 15 years.

Also, down comes from various waterfowl and they have a plethora of it. Wild geese and ducks join my group in the winter because of the flowing water and seem to love it as much. Living on a pond is far more sanitary than a dog crate living in his own feces.

Results don't lie feel free to visit the birds, hand feed them, etc. I've done this for years you can tell by my posts and pics that I don't care about the animals. I care for my pets because I want to abuse them? You said they should be sold for meat!!

Did you see how happy my goose was to see his friends and other goose? It was so beautiful how they reacted they were so happy to be together again!

Even my ducks greeted him happiky, he is their protector!

If I stole your car or pets you too may squeak.

All that aside thanks for returning my boy to me. Not that it is a prinary concern to me how you feel about him but he is loved and will continue to be well cared for like the other 100 birds on other neighborhood retention ponds in Carmel and fishers.

Waterfowl are contained by water now. It's also a good thing my hoa owns the land. Animals aren't running at large they're confined to two retention ponds. Stealing is a crime regardless of the activity there's no gray area.

For someone that cares about animals so much you sure like to cause trouble for those who truly rescue and give unwanted birds a long healthy life. They should probably go to the meat grinder that's humane and kind! Or it's probably better to kill them after they hatch when they're vent sexed and they find that they're drakes. That's far better than a fat healthy life for waterfowl on the water with affection and endless supply of care.

Providence is in no at worried. But if someone that rehabilitates thousands of WILD animals per year and rehomes abandoned DOMESTICS so she has room to care for wildlife properly, was damaged or unable to do so because of your actions... well tha would certainly be a great thing you did?

You call yourself passionate and caring? Do you ever utilize logic and objective critical thinking skills in any conceivable situations?

Or will you stop at nothing to get back/lash out at someone or get your way just because you're ornery, even if you're wrong?

Why do you want to harm animals so bad?
