Please help with sick peacock

Update... My hen is a little better now and just yesterday started pooping some semi-regular poop. Still tubing lots of fluids, but she is eating a little on her own.

Hi there, I'm looking to print out a Tylan 50 as well as a Tylan 200 dosage chart to have on hand in my poultry med cabinet. I need to know how much to give per body weight with my Peafowl as well as chickens. I figured you probably have one handy or know it by heart

thank you Kathy!

First thing is to not buy Tylan 50 in the first place, if giving injections, it is just too much volume. Have on hand Tylan 200 and or Baytril. Then again, there is a whole medical chest of things that one should have on hand for when it is needed.
X2!

If I were going to use it I would give these amounts orally.

  • Tylan 50 - 0.5 ml per pound twice a day
  • Tylan 200 - 0.125 ml per pound twice a day

-Kathy
Well thats simple enough
