My new chicks and new property thread!

I was asked if I could make a thread for people to follow my chicks growth and figured I'd share my adventures on our new property also.

Baby update!

My favorite little fluffer! The tiniest tot yet has the most 'tude.

I like this one's mottling and type.

I love the type on this one too but very little mottling. I think it is from the split to black parents.

Your chickens look so nice!

They do look a lot like Pita Pinas but they are bigger.

These aren't my chickens. They're the parents of the chicks I bought. I hope my babies turn out just as nice (or better

) some of the mothers are blacks and the rest are mottled. I don't know what a Pita pina is lol these are orpingtons. Thanks for the compliments!

Thanks! I'm so excited to move and have 20 acres to explore and farm! Our guardian is a she. Her name is Harrah and she takes her job very seriously indeed! We are proud of her! Thanks for following my thread!
