Hello!
This is my first time posting here, so sorry if I mess anything up!
Anywho, I bought 6 chickens from Meyer hatchery, one of the hatches didn’t go well so instead of a refund they gave me a standard Easter egger chick that was supposed to be female so it would mesh well with everyone...
I have 5 EE/amercauna chicks that I had ordered from the TSC app. They are about 3-4 weeks old and I was hoping someone experienced with them; could possibly TRY and see if they can tell if one or more are a pullet. I'm sorry if the pictures aren't the best... they're quite antsy lol TIA
Located in Albany, Oregon.
Chicks available Monday, April 10th. ( The day after Easter.)
Please get on my waitlist to reserve your Easter Egger chicks now! $5 a chick with a minimum of 3 chicks.
These chicks will lay blueish greenish eggs.
Straight run.
Calling all experts! I really wanted a Welsummer, but now I am confused as to what these girls could be. I'm just a beginner so I have no idea...they all are so similar!
I need help sexing my 5 week old easter eggers. Heres chick 1, the chick I am 80% sure is a pullet. Chick 2. One I am 100% sure is a male. Chick 3 one I am also sure is a male. Chick 4was unable to get a side view.
These two hatched 11/17/2021 so almost 4 months old.
They look like pullets, but they have pointy feathers??!
When purchased I was told they were amauracana’s, but they look a lot like EE’s.
I was hoping for blue eggs, am I certain for blue, or do I gotta wait it out because they’re Easter...
Hey
I’ve heard of chicken cake recipes that hens can eat I was wondering if you guys have any good one
My EE is turning 10 years old next month and I was hoping to do something special for her
Any guesses to what sex these are? I numbered them for easy reference. Appreciate the help! I know their mom was an Easter Egger because I only hatched blue and green eggs. Dad was a white barnyard mix.
So I adopted 3 hens from a co worker. She said they were Ameracauna. One of them lays blue color eggs and I think the other 2 lay greenish/tan eggs. Could they actually be EE? Or mixes? Something else?
I guess the lavender one started out as a beautiful lavender color and now looks more like a...
Trying to figure out if my 18 week old is a pullet or cockerel. I’ve already determined one to be a cockerel (black) when it started chasing the dog and cats away. He’s very protective of the girls and has a cockerel strut.
The other one (white) though isn’t aggressive but has the look of a...
Can anybody help me , I cannot have roosters in my town and I believe these two might be roosters. I had one crow this morning as well! Where are my experts at? 🐔😆
I have two more seven-week-old easter eggers that I am wondering what their gender is. @cherrynberry @Overo Mare @Little Baby Bean thanks for your help with my other chicks. What do you think about these two?
Chick 1:
Chip (chick 2):
I have a crossbeak/scissor beak EE and she's been eating mash for a while. She has stopped gaining weight and is less than 1/4 the size of her siblings. I've began tube feeding her 20ml twice a day. Is this enough? She isn't able to eat anything so the only food she gets is from tube feeding...
I’m a new chick owner, first time, and trying to troubleshoot my chickens is turning to be a super challenge between me trying to take preventive action or just over thinking. My Easter egger daphne, for a couple weeks she has been sneezing pretty constantly compared to the rest. That initially...
First time chicken owner! These 2 chicks are the most outgoing of my crew! But with only 1 of each kind for their breed I don’t know if they are Pullet or Cockerel?!? They also seem bonded, always together. The EE is constantly talking, we tell S’mores to stop being so uptight 🤣. I have 4 Red...
Hatched 3/23/21. Easter egger roo. Nashville TN Area. I do not have space for 2 roosters and he will be too big for the brooder soon. The lady that was supposed to take him ghosted me.
I just picked them up from Rural King. I'm sure they are a week or less old. Cuteness overload. Praying for at least one being a pullet if not both. Keeping a very small flock of 3 to 4 hens. I did the ring test, saying they are pullet. Fingers crossed 🤞
