Ok. ALL serama websites say that bit of information, if you readthem. What part of Malaysia are you in? They are supposed to be most popular in Kelantin I think.

Nope dont see it, that one is on the simple pages.

No edit feature yet on the "simple" pages. Please either PM me the changes needed (if there are just a couple) or create a new page and PM me which one to delete.

That is funny! I have not read many American Serama websites, but probably this is a bit of misinformation that has been passed on. Kelantan is one of the northern states in peninsular Malaysia (we have 13 states). It borders Thailand and is a bit more rural than states such as Selangor, Penang or Wilayah (Federal Territories) where the capital is. I'm not surprised if breeding Serama is popular in Kelantan because of this, but it seems highly unlikely that it is true of the rest of the country. I suppose it's rather like saying that the #1 pet in Idaho is the #1 pet in America. And I'm not really convinced that ayam serama is the #1 pet in Kelantan either. They might be thinking of people with large numbers of ayam serama (breeders) vs. the average person in Kelantan.

I'm from Kuala Lumpur, the capital, and I have lots of friends and relatives around the country in Malaysia. Believe me, if someone told them that ayam serama was Malaysia's #1 pet they would all be rolling on the floor laughing! But they are cute, fascinating chickens and I'm very happy that so many people are interested in them (and maybe in our country too as a result

Hi, this is a great new feature, and I have a suggestion: Can the history/characteristics section on the main pages be set up as a single or double column list? They're in a paragraph form right now, and it's hard to read.

Thank you for all your hard work!

Edited: because I realized it depends on how the member uses the section. The particular one I looked at was Australorp, and that has a lot of characteristics in it, and they're in a format that would make a handy list. But I see that others are writing it more as a paragraph & addressing history only.

So I guess this fix is not needed, just wanted to let you know.

Thanks for making us aware of this and we will be double-checking all info in the breed database before switching it over to our main system.

I was putting in simple pages and I missed the bantam/standard button so now all my bantams are listed as standards....unless staff wants to be always bothered to fix stuff like this there needs to be an edit option. Also as I get better pictures I'd like to be able to change out pictures with something better, add pictures as I get them...and so on. We need an edit option on the simple pages.

Oh and on the main pages there is no button for a walnut comb, did you know that? Silkies have a walnut comb.
