Thank you guys for the help,
well i have to edit just a couple words on my showgirl page, everything is from my own mouth except where they are originally from, Yes i got it from mag. But now i know i need to change some words and put in my own.
Everybody learns something everyday.

The page exists, but I removed it from view at shay's request. Until we have the edit feature in place a new page would probably be best.

Hi there,

I'd like to start off by saying that it's obvious a HUGE amount of work, time and dedication has gone into this project! For that, I'd like to say a big "THANK YOU!" Overall, it looks great!

I do, however, have a couple objections. It looks like all of the text and photos for the Demo on Araucanas came from my website and/or my BYC personal page, which was previously listed in the old breeds section under "Araucanas."

While I am honored to contribute (though I was not actually aware that I would be contributing in this manner) this raises an issue:

I already have a HUGE problem with people taking photos from my website and using them to sell hatching eggs on ebay and eggbid.

While I am VERY happy to contribute my photos to BYC (I have been a BYC member on ALL the various forum incarnations over the past 8 years), I must object to the fact that they are posted without credit. On my website, my photos are posted with a copyright and each page contains a notice stating that they are not to be used elsewhere without prior permission. I still have problems here and there, but it helps. If my pictures are posted on BYC without credit, I imagine that not only will I have more problems, but ebay/eggbid sellers will refuse to take photos of my birds off their auction, with the reasoning that they're on BYC, so they're public property.

I really like the Araucana demo page, it was very well-done, BUT -- can we please add some sort of credit and/or photo rights notice?

History:
The Old English Game bantam is a delightful breed of chicken. It is a small, pugnacious, and charming little chicken that embodies the idea of pride and “chickenhood.” Their larger counterparts are the direct descendents of the jungle fowl, but the bantams are the end result of careful selective breeding of various backyard bantams. The first variety accepted to the American Standard of Perfection was Black Breasted Red (BBR), gaining recognition in 1925. Since their acceptance, they have become the most popular breed of exhibition chicken, easily reaching class sizes of over 300 birds in medium sized shows. Males are required to be dubbed in order to be shown, but unlike the Modern Game bantam part of the comb should be left, leaving a rounded nub. Old English have two distinct types, “American” and “English,” with the American type having a fanned tail and the English type having a “whip” tail. This breed is known for living a long and fruitful life; it is not uncommon for hens to reach 15 years of age.

Experience, Handling:
Old English are a very hardy breed. They handle cold and heat exceptionally well. They are excellent foragers and will easily adapt to a wild life (so be sure to keep an eye on your flock if you let them range!). It can be difficult to house multiple males together, but if they were raised together as chicks there shouldn’t be a problem. Never approach a male from the front. Cocks see this as a challenge and may attack. Grasp your male by the shoulders first then pick him up. Females are very sweet and timid. They love to be handled and babied, and are known to be superb broodies. If you are new to Old English and plan on showing them, please keep in mind that competition is usually very stiff and don’t be discouraged if you don’t do well!

Hey, does anyone have any pictures of Wyandotte Bantam chicks and eggs? I have the info already written and ready to go, but don't have many pictures cause I haven't had Dottes in years. I tried to upload the info without all the pics... but I apparently can't do that.
