Very nice, LilShadow.

The girls are obviously enjoying their new digs. I notice they seem to all be using one communal nesting box.

It will be a wonderful area when spring comes and the trees begin to leaf out. It's fun to see everyone's coops, especially those who live in other states. This coops looks warm and protective; I've got to worry about too much heat in the summer.
Thanks for the photos.

Yeah, thought the shade would be nice for them. About the nesting boxes, it's funny they all go to that one, and I have 4 in there go figure right.

Lilshadow and Brian, NICE coops. They look so well built and strong. Good examples of what chickens need!

This is probably going to up small, I can't get it bigger but you get the idea.

I am very proud of this coop it is my first one and I bulit it by myself, it is 4x8 for the coop and the run is about 3x the size of the coop. I lifted it up so my girls could hide under it in the bad weather and they seem to like it under there.

I got the window from a friend's mothers HISTORIC house, for real it is listed and I got the windows and 600 brick that I am going to place around the run to make a path. The window does open so does the the one over their door that is hardly visable.
Thanks for letting me share and thanks for sharing yours with me.

You two have a terrific set up in your backyard. The chicken coop/run give the hens a lot of room to roam about. I love the idea that you have a worm bin to use.

Talk about composting... worms are ideal.

Thanks for taking the time to post all those photographs. So much fun to see what everyone else has done.
