The Bessemerian war happened on the Duck and Breed, Genetics,Showing forums here on BYC. It all started when I posted a new thread about a breed of duck I'm working on. Somebody (specific) didn't like that, and thought everybody should here about his unreasonable opinions. 2 others joined in, and, apparently at the time, they were following me, because soon enough, they were damaging and scathing and ranting off at every thread to my name. It ended with all of us getting warnings and these threads getting locked. About a week later, I started a new thread, to apologize for my behaviour, and it started again (note to self -- never apologize again). The end.

wow. I have only ever gotten three warnings. one happened when I started screaming at someone for killing their chicken. the second was for arguing with someone about religion (I am a christian). The third was for reposting a closed thread.

Three warnings?! I only have 1, and I've been here for longer and posted more than you!

My warning (only 1, BTW) was for reporting the original thread in question, and waiting, and waiting, and then posting a rather scathing rebutal to someone's very hurtful and uneducated comment... I posted it about 12 minutes before the moderator I summoned came to the thread....

I'm glad you find my 20 points/90 days amusing... I still have 1.5 months to go for that. I will NEVER do it again (and actually, to make it MORE ironic, I was sorry for posting that and was going back to retract my statements when the mod PMed me with the warning.
