Marie smiled and walked into the water as well. She flicked water from her tail, causing it to fly through the air for a moment before landing in her face. Marie blinked as the cold water splattered across her face and caught her by suprise.

Rose paddled up closer to her mother.

Feeling that it was getting a bit too cold out, Marie began to nudge Rose out of the stream to the shore where they could dry off.

She gingerly stepped out on her long, awkward legs, appearing to be even tinier after her coat had been drenched in the stream. Rose did a full body shake and huddled close to her mother to stay warm.
