So is there a story line here, at all? Do I just jump in, I heard reference to two different herds on here?


Gio took the vine the mare had offered and wrestled himself to a shallower section, where the mud wasn't so suction-y. It took a great while, as he had wasted most of his energy in his earlier and futile attempts to pull free, before he was able to stumble out completely.

Wheezing softly and caked with what felt like a hundred pounds of mud, he glanced around for the strange mare who seemed to have vanished.
