"Hey, don't worry about it, alright? Everything will work out in the end." Isaac said, rubbing his cheek up against her neck in a comforting manner. "Lets get back to the others." He said after a moment, stepping back with his signature mischievous smile.

She sighed, letting the soft side of herself she only showed her closest, most trustworthy friends show. She closed her eyes as he touched her. The brotherly, family love that she had felt was still foreign to her. She'd never been loved. It felt good, she decided, but only when you knew you could trust them. She took a step back, cracking a grin at his smile. "Alright, I'll forget about it for now, but don't think you're off the hook," she said.

Suddenly, something began to rustle in the bushes near the others, as if something was walking towards the little gang.

Suddenly, something began to rustle in the bushes near the others, as if something was walking towards the little gang.

"Did'ja hear that?" Isaac whispered, sticking his ears straight up and stopping.

Gaia approached the rustling with a snort, her ears perked. It seemed to be getting closer.

Starka followed behind, standing next to Gaia. She pinned her ears immediately at the sound. "Stupid..." she began to mutter, the rest of her words inaudible.
