Yes, that's how I feel. The reason I think you should go with the filly is Dezi, and the colt might not get along.

Meh, I would assume she would have him gelded once he got older if she ended up with the colt. Unless she really wanted a stallion...

I could. Some people believe that geldings are better than mares because they are too moody, but it doesn't really matter to me. I want to go and work with them both some and see which one takes better to me and responds better to some working.

Yes, you have got to think about whether Dezi and a colt would get along though. Same with the filly.

Yeah, I'm afraid a colt might try to fight him and end up in one or both of them being injured.

Not necessarily, I talked to a guy the other day and he said it doesn't matter the age, it just depends on the horse.
