no, number one her age (she is 22) and number 2, i only have ridden bareback about 3 times for lessons, and i couldnt get on a 14 hand horse LOL, i dont then i could get on a 15hand horse (height wise and the face i cant vault, when i try to, well it doesnt go well..) i guess you can say farm life has change me alot on how i see stuff :/ we are most likely gonna cull a few goats because 2 are mean (the lamacha might be sold) the weather doesnt keep weight well, and the other doe is some what mean and we want nice goats.

i have learned to look at the bigger picture, and sometimes it lead to a hard choose. hopefully it maybe that the farrier did her hooves wrong, the test results have not come back yet

I know people who ride their horses to 30, 22 is nothing. Dezi was 21. Well MH, if you can't get on her from the ground...you know someone can give you a lift or you can use something to step on-- not that big of a problem. :p I can't get on any of my horses bareback, But I have been riding my dad's mare for him, because she's a butthead >< so that he will have a better horse. All you have to do is grip with your thighs it's not hard at all, actually seems more comfortable to me. :p

I look at the bigger picture also, and I just don't see that her not being able to be ridden is worth putting her down.

But, of course, she's your horse, and ya'll will do whatever you think is best.

I get the mean thing, I hate mean chickens, one of my fav roos who has always loved me went really mean.

We're gonna have to put him down.

You nearly fell off at a walk? I think you need to improve your seat and balance.

All you have to do is grip the horse with your thighs and maybe hold on to some mane or something. It's super easy, and I have rode some mix breed something named Moki, my old psycho horse Dezi, my bucking Walker mare Haley, and my dad's crazy Foxtrotter mare Ann. Oh, and I've been on the back of a QH mare named Lightning who thinks she's an Arabian bareback. Trying to roll though, ick.
