going to try a new trainer (my old one moved) getting ready for 4-H horse show.

Pretty excited for 4H this year I'm bringing 2 of my neighbors horses an Appaloosa named comet and a quarter horse named Ellie. I'm doing English pleasure, western pleasure, bareback, trail, costume, hunt seat, hunter jumper, and gymkhana! Problem is I haven't ridden for 2 years since the horse i rode was sold and I've never ridden english but who cares lol

As you might know, I've been getting quite a few messages from people who want to join, but the front page won't let me edit it. I need your advice - should I make a new page? As far as I know, it will eventually lock itself, too, though... Or should I just make a post with members' names?

I must say, my horsey life has been going downhill. With the looming presence of Algebra homework, I didn't get to ride at all in the fall pretty much, and winter really isn't over up here until like May! I'm hoping to ride again then... Man, I miss it so much!

How are you guys?

I know how you feel. Each week when my Mom and instructor set up a lesson, the day before the weather takes a turn for the worst or the ground is frozen or she isn't available to teach me. It's been going on like this since before the new year and I almost feel like giving up. Mostly because, when summer comes around, it's going to be the same- either it's too hot or I'm too busy. And with each week that passes my legs get a little weaker and I loose a little more confidence..agh it's so frustrating.
Sorry for ranting.
