What will you be doing with them? Personality? Willingness to work? Intelligence? Picks up on things quickly? Easy keeper? These are things you need to ask yourself about her before deciding.

I'll be doing mostly trail, I'm a rather short person, I like the sound of the second filly better, but I know 2 QHs just like both of those, and they both have their faults.

Another thing, they are both 4 months old, just got offa their mamas, so i can't really decide some of those.

It sounds like the 2nd horses build might be better for trail, but I am sure either would be fine. Try doing something simple and see which one picks up on it quicker-- halter, brushing, leading... whatever. Also, look for the one with the bigger hooves. QH's tend to get foot problems because they often have small feet-- especially cutting horses.

That's what I was thinking. One of my friends has a retired QH racehorse, he is slimmer and taller, but his footing is really bad. CrystalLovin'CountryChic has a huge QH mare, she is twice as wide as the racehorse and is pushy and really strong, she can walk on anything. I had a not-so-good experience with a TB mare and i don't want a horse that'll be so tall I can barely control her, or a horse that will be so strong I can barely control her.

yeah.
Don't take one bad experience with a TB to heart; they are a great breed, even if they are not right for you now. They are my favorite breed. TB crosses also turn out nicely too.

are TB suppose to be were you could see all their bones?

we have some one that lives in our town that has a horse that you can see ALL it bones, it appeared at their place about 2 months ago

She was just so tall, I couldn't handle her.
