Hey. The Christmas parade is this Friday!

Any suggestions on if it would be better to ride with a saddle or bareback? I really don't know what to do. Also, I got this bit that is a d-ring snaffle copper inlaid with sweet iron. I haven't tried it on yet, but Dezi really doesn't like the twisted copper snaffle I have on him right now.

Has anyone ever used sweet iron bits before?

I, well, probably not, I don't really have anything to put on him and I don't think any of my friends will be doing anything fancy to their either. As far as I know, there aren't any rules saying I can't ride bareback.

I would say whichever is the most comfortable for you then.

Well, I feel more comfortable riding bareback, but I don't know how he'll do with the police cars and the fire trucks and all the people, but he hates saddles.

Hmmm....I would say bareback then if he doesn't like saddles and you're more comfortable with it. It might take some stress off of being in the crowds.

Okay, thanks. I'm gonna try him out with a saddle next day or so, see how he does, though.
