WOAH THAT'S BEAUTIFUL!

Bah... Anyone remember how I twisted/sprained my ankle a little over a month ago?

Well, it had been starting to become nothing but an annoyance, but landing on it hard or twisting it oddly still has been causing a twinge of pain. I pretty much ignored it, though, even taking the stairs at school when I could have taken the elevator. I was determined to be done with this 'hurt foot' thing.

Well apparently fate had other ideas.

While riding my sister's Thoroughbred yesterday, he attempted to buck me off (he failed), and when I returned to the saddle from my visit to the cosmos I caught myself in the stirrups, causing a HUGE tinge in my ankle. I brushed it off, though, and kept on riding.
(I also landed on the pommel of the western saddle I was simultaneously trying out, which hurt a bit. :p)

Well, later that night I was returning from a trip to the store, and my foot decided then was a good time to do something I'm all-too-familiar with.

When taking a step forward, my foot will fall on its side. Barefoot this is no problem, but when I'm wearing any kind of shoe, all my weight goes onto the tendons as my foot falls to the inside.

Needless to say, it hurt. A lot. My ankle swelled up almost instantly, and now I'm having to go to work with it still hurting and swollen because I can't afford to lose any hours, and I'm really dreading tonight.

Worst of all, though, is that this has the potential to keep my from doing any serious work with Namir. :/
