All of mine stay out 24/7 unless I am going somewhere with them. If I am leaving in the wee hours I sometimes stall them the night before. At a show or camping ect. I stall them. My horses do not crowd me, I have taught them to stay out of MY SPACE.... And they cannot be a bully about food.

Ride the Glide....Got Gait....I do.....

hahahaha I wish I cold do that. :) My lead horse always scares the other ponies away when he's done his food, so he can get more. I don't allow it though. :D

Okay, first of all does anyone here keep their horses in a pasture at all times? If so, do your horses try to kill you when you bring up feed!!!?? I was feeding our horses yesterday, and they come right up to you and it's like they corner you and won't let you out!!!!

I bring a distraction bucket along so I can give them a bit of feed to distract them so I can at least get up to their shed. :D Just thought I might share that with you.
The mare I lease and her pasture-mates are always out, unless sick.

I do sometimes have a problem with the others following me around if I've brought a bucket of treats to lure my mare in, but nothing too serious. They're just curious. If they get too close I shoo them off.

Haha getting kicked isn't fun. At all. Lol. Be careful! We have one pushy mare, and I find carrying a crop can help. If they get too in your face a little tap with it might remind them to back off.
