I had a cat named Cutey who grew up to be a huge tom cat who picked fights with the neighbor's cats. My mom and brother took to calling him Buba

So don't worry sometimes animals just get weird names.

Ya, sometimes it just fits them.

Other times, you end up with Cutey's that pick fights...

Or a Blue Eyes who has green eyes

But I do have the excuse I was young (Cutey and Blue Eyes were littermates). Nick the dog was named Nick after Saint Nicholas because my mom had originally thought about getting us a dog for Christmas, even though we didn't get him then.

Nick's not a bad name at all, even if it's after Christmas.

One of my younger siblings used to change the name of our old Sheltie all of time and now he comes to just about anything!

so i'm sitting in the car, we're going to get both of my brothers haircuts, and i look at the back of the seat in front of me. naturally i squeak just a tad b/c of my insane phobia of bugs, b/c there's this scarlet beetle thing RIGHT IN FRONT OF MY FACE!!! i edge away and it flies to the window right beside me and i'm terrified and i look at my completely asinine meanie mistkopf brother who just smiles and i'm sitting there hyperventilating and i just say: you know, i really hate you sometimes. and he says open the window and i say i can't and he's sitting there smiling.
