I'll be getting a shipment of hatching eggs in 2-3 days and my incubator's not set up and I have no idea if the thermometer is super reliable I'm FREAKING OUT! If these chicks die, many things will be wasted: $50, 15 lives, and 30 points in science class next quarter (which I'll probably need a lot). And I don't know if I have a humidifier-thing! Maybe I should just borrow my neighbor's incubator, she's had better luck with hatching

3 out, 1 black, one white, one metallic silvery one. The white and silver are dry, but the black isnt quite ready yet. Three more eggs have pipped. One of them is zipping.

the zipped one is almost done. Moved the already hatched babies to the brooder, because they were playing soccer with the remaining eggs

If you're unsure about your own incubator and you know your neighbor's incubator might give better results, and there's a possibility they will loan it to you, I say go for it.

If you're going to invest that much money and time into it, if I were you I would try and get the best equipment you can when possible because it might pay off in the end.
