I got an awesome story idea from a scratch on my hand

How did that happen?

Its kinda on the back of my hand and it curves down to the side and I started thinking 'Hmm, it kinda looks like a scar (even though I had only gotten it about an hour before)' So I started to think about characters in books that have scars on their hands and decided that I should have a character that has a scar right there on his hand and then I looked at it again and thought it looked like a bite mark, so I made the scar on my character be from a bite from a werewolf. And now he attracts mythical creatures and if they do something to him, like bite or scratch him, he can transform or half transform into them, or just use some of their abnormal abilities, like with a mermaid, he can now breath underwater

Wow. Amazing. A lot to come from a scar... I've got a few beauty spots on my face and a whole heap of scars from old scrapes and cuts... don't think I'd be able to come up with a story outta them

Oh, I love those types of scratches! When I'm really bored, I get a piece of plastic and scrath words onto my leg then splash a bit of water over it and it'll be gone
