If you are going to have a pet, chickens are your best bet. Honestly, I don't see the appeal of horses.

What do they give you? I like horses a lot but I do admit that they have downfalls.

Chickens are the perfect example of an ideal pet. They can be affectionate, and actually give you something substantial in return. Yummy breakfast.

Yet horses are still a favorite. I've always loved their personalities, their little quirks, even if it includes shying at brooms or standing outside in the hail and nearly getting pummeled to death.
