Yes, I can tell you what I think happened.

It seems to me that some people were deciding that it would be fun to rebel against the rules of the game on the thread. But I don't think the original creator (Nikky) was on the same page. She asked you nicely to stop, but it seemed like everyone thought she was kidding and so they kept at it and wouldn't follow the rules. Think of it like the Pullets and Cockerals "war" back a while ago...Everyone thought it was funny and for a while, it was. But it eventually led to unneeded conflict. It's similar to this. If people had only followed the rules and not "revolted" out of immaturity against the rules of the game, the thread wouldn't have gone downhill.
I just find it a shame to have to lose a fun game thread. But nevertheless, it's over and done with now. Take it as a learning lesson for future reference, for those who may have contributed to it, and just move on.

We weren't actually revolting. I was just trying to find words that actually made sense together and didn't have the letter A

Then why did you post something like, "Look at this post!" (and yes, you purposely highlighted the "A"...)???
But nonetheless, it's over with. Clearly it was a problem in Nikky's point of view, and not as harmless as you're trying to make it be. But I don't have time to argue and I won't let the closing of one thread affect this one. Thank you.
