We are battering down for damaging winds and scattered T-storms later this afternoon. This is one of those times that I love living 5 feet from a spindly pine forest of 3 story trees!

We have had several fall, one smashed though the fence and ruined it and part of our goat run. One across the drive, a whole bunch nearby.

And that's what we did with the last one. A few before that were turned into posts for the chicken empire..... A lovely coop about the size of my room, furnished with perches and designer nest boxes. Well kinda, it's empty and clean at this point in time awaiting our new laying flock.
