"Of Mice and Men". It was a class reading thing, so she passed out copies of the book to everyone and the whole class read it out loud, and they're numbered so she knows what number I have (according to the book I was assigned). And she'll most likely be collecting them back tomorrow.

What am I gonna say?? "Hi, I kinda lost the "Of Mice and Men" book somehow, but I can pay for it..." I don't know if I should email and tell her (which is easier than telling it to her in person, for me

), but then that would be a little awkward tomorrow morning when I see her because she would need to confront me and I'm a little embarrassed that I lost the book.
