Hey pullets

Hehehe.
A lot of fish do that.
Because if you have two male bettas they'll fight (that's why they're sometimes called Siamese Fighting Fish), if you have a male and a female the male will overbreed the female and get agressive towards her. A single male is best unless you want to breed.

Alas, I must leave! Farewell, Felta.... *Fades away*

NOOO!!! Duck with an F!

lol, hearing you say 'hehehehe' made me laugh for some reason.
Yeah, they do. It's gross

Isn't there a breed called Chinese Kissing Fish as well? o.O
things could get brutal... dun dun dun!! that's so sad! stop harassing the female! *finger waggle*

He will get lonely all by his lonesome! Perhaps I"ll buy one of a different breed to put with him.

(Very late reponse...)

Weird.
Blegh.
I think it's called Kissing Gourami, I'll check my books.
Nooooooo! The waggle of finger!

There's also a species called Betta imbellis, or Peaceful Betta. The males aren't as agressive, but you have to feed them live or freeze-dried food at least three or four times a week.

Oh, now, isn't that interesting. Are they small, these Betta fish? If they are, I wonder what kind of 'live' stuff you could feed them, as they could hardly eat other fish if they're small.
YOu have fish books? cool
