So there's suppose to be a meteor shower tonight (the Lyrids) that occurs every April, mainly from the 21st-22nd. So, lucky for me, tonight just happens to be the perfect night because I have a telescope (I was planning on going stargazing anyways, before I read about the meteor shower), the weather will be really nice and it should be pretty clear, and it gives me a chance to hang out with my boyfriend.

I have a huge tree house (literally...it's huge...it has 3 floors and took 13 years to build and I've never been to the very top because it's waaay too high for me!

) and there's a perfect view of the sky from the 2nd floor, and my boyfriend knows I love astronomy and stuff and he has never used a telescope before so he wants to try it. And what better night than tonight, when there's going to be a meteor shower?

I haven't invited him yet, because I'm contemplating on whether it's a good idea or not...What do you guys think? Good idea or not? What would you do?
I posted this on another thread but wanted to see what you guys think, too.

Awesome! Invite him if you want.

Just kidding...I just asked my parents and they said that he can come over but they won't be able to pick him up or bring him back home, and I don't want to make his parents drive him here and then pick him up again, especially when it's really late at night...I mean they probably would, but it just seems kind of rude to me to make them bring him and pick him up (even if my parents can't at the moment).

So I'm not sure if I should invite him over anymore...
