Yes, it's an event for honouring the soldiers who fought for Australia and New Zealand in various wars throughout history. They usually block off the main roads throughout the CBD. Took us ages to actually find a way to get in here.

It was pretty dang cool... I auditioned for the role of Louisa, but some snotty little my-mother-is-on-the-board-so-I-get-it-even-though-I-can't-act-to-save-my-life girl got it.

I can't act to save my life either, but I still manage to scrounge up some little roles that people cast off. Suits me fine, I'd probably die if they made me sing a solo in front of an audience

I love the Sound of Music! We used to have a tape, back when people still listened to tapes, that played the entire Sound of Music soundtrack in the car. I especially liked a Woman like Maria, and I've got the Confidence.
