Yes, it's an event for honouring the soldiers who fought for Australia and New Zealand in various wars throughout history. They usually block off the main roads throughout the CBD. Took us ages to actually find a way to get in here.

Yeah, it was pretty boring. Went on for ages. No offence to the soldiers, you did a good job, but it seriously goes on forever.
