Beating them up won't do anything. I'm not quite sure what it does, but it doesn't help the cause. It normally takes time, and patience, but eventually you get throught to them. I know, it seems so easy just to go off and beat them, but it teaches them (Just now remembering) To be mean, and act bad. I've felt the same way when it came to our new puppy. He used to have accidents ALOT, and I would get sooo mad at him. I just wanted to kick him, but I knew that wouldn't be right. When your dealing with puppies (Just like children) You have to show them what
is right, and praise them when they do it. When they do something
bad , don't beat them, and don't yell. It just makes things worse.
it took a lot of "no"s to get me to the point of kicking, which was surprizingly fast. aussies and heelers are supposed to be smart, but believe you me, they aren't! i would much rather a smart cat than a dumb dog
They're are only smart if you make them that way. They may seem to be stupid, and most times they do, believe me, but its sort of like teaching a toddler. Yes, at times they seem stupid, but they're still learning and need help. And when I say help, I mean, ALOT. I have two younger brothers who are currently in school, and they are tough nuts to crack. One just won't listen, while the other is too loud to care!
Well, I like cats and dogs both. I have both, and I love them all! We have three dogs (One Labrador, one German shepard, and one Caryn terrier) Ozzie is probably the best, sweetest dog you will ever meet, Benny is very tame and loyal, and playful, and William, weeelll, lets just say that he'sm erm, "Special" And a cat named Gimli. He's only nice to people he likes (My older brother and I)
I g2g to bed, night!
