Good afternoon!
What was left of Irene came through and utterly devastated our yard and neighborhood once again.
We had been in a drought and that much rain in that amount of time, not to mention help from the wind, caused a lot of trees to fall.
I actually saw a flood! I have never seen one before, 3 or 4 feet of water, tried to drive through it (Not knowing it got that deep), backed out when we could no longer see the tires and went another route. A huge old oak was in the road, did I mention the blinding rain? Tree branches were falling everywhere.
Finally got home, our gorgeous junipers were all down. They have been there since we moved here, I am not happy at the moment.
