Willowpaw spotted a large rock wedged in the side of the pit. It was just in her reach. She clawed it out andsunk her claws into the large hole it had left. She used that to push herself up where she snagged her claws on a root. She then got her hind paws in the hole and leapd out.

But please don't go saying "my work sucks," because it doesn't! It seems to be a chronic condition among writers to be in the "This sucks" mentality--half the time I fall right into it. What matters is that you keep writing despite whatever you might think of your work--just keep writing!)
