Sunpaw was lonely and looked around the camp for someone to go hunting with.

Tawnypelt, Rainwhisker and Brambleberry headed out into the forest to hunt

"Can we still eat them?" Dawnpaw asked, the tip of her tail twitching nervously

"We must" Swiftbreeze replied "Either that or starve"

"C'mon" Patchfoot and Dappletail padded back up the slope "We have to report this to Stormstar"

Sunpaw bounded out of camp to hunt. She went to the river she normally fished in but it was dry! Well she would have to use her knew mousing skills then. She waited for a mouse to come along.

Tawnypelt returned to the group with a vole and a sparrow, the others were waiting in the shape of a pine tree

Suddenly Lostcry emerged from the bushes behind the others, passing them silently. A black bird, limp and lifeless, hung from her jaws. With a meaningful glance, she flicked her tail towards the ominous sky, wincing as the first drops of rain stuck to her fur.

"We need some rain" Rainwhisker grumbled, following the rest back to camp with his catch

Lostcry nodded, huddled under the umbrella of leaves outstretched overhead, shielding her from the brunt of the rain. Lightning spiked the sky, and the heavens wept in torrents. Branches seemed to reach for the sky, embracing the falling water hungrily.
