She multitasked, still mauling Rainwhisker with one claw as she reached out with another and hooked them deep into Sunpaw's throat and did not let go. Echostorm panted from the apprentice's injury and the freshly inflicted scars running across her body. Nonetheless she kept on going.

Darkclaw heard the commotion while hunting. He raced over and paused, seeing who needed help.

Spearfang lay on his back, his tail sweeping left and right along the ground as he watched the fight upside-down.

Darkclaw leaped long and low into echo, at the last second of impact wrenching her to the side. He scraped his claws down her back furiously.

Tawnypelt raced around the corner, nothing more then a blur as she crashed into Echostorm, sending the she-cat flying up against a tree. She grabbed her with her front claws and raked her hindclaws across Echostorm's face, ripping open her lips and causing so much blood to flow into her eyes that she was blinded. She tossed the dazed warrior up against a boulder, knocking her out cold. With the other hen dealt with she bolted back to Rainwhisker and pressed her paws against his neck to stop the bleeding
