~•SoиgCłди•~Д Сдт Сłди ЯP. DEPUTY POSITION IS OPEN!

Sungold kept an eye out. She was careful to seem as if she was paying absolutely no attention whatsoever to the forest around. Who knew what kind of clan this was? She padded along with Lostcry.

Suddenly a twig cracked, and the peaceful silence was shattered.

One paw raised in the air, Lostcry squinted through the gloom, tail poised. Her green eyes narrowed, focusing on three dark shadows not ten yards away, striding towards them.

Sungold kept her postion. She remembered her vow of silence and pressed her lips together.

Suddenly Lostcry raised her hackles and backed behind the oak once again. Turning worriedly to Sungold, she flicked her tail upwards towards a few leafy boughs. Without another word she bounded up the backside of the tree, claws digging into the thick bark and hauling herself onto the high branch.

Balanced, she looked down and gestured to Sungold urgently.

Silent as a shadow, Lostcry began to creep through the boughs, moving away from the patrol, and out of earshot. However, no sooner had she deftly passed them that the party turned about and began to head back the way they had come. She sucked in a breath, teeth gritted as she watched the patrol strut right under the tree in which she was crouched. There were three of them, plastered by dappled moonlight from the canopy: a black tom, a blue short-hair female, and a small tuxedo tom.

She glanced over her shoulder to check on Sungold's progress, and shook her head. She pointed with one silver-grey paw down to the patrol, then made a slit-like motion across her own throat. The message was simple: if they were spotted, they would die.

She blinked slowly in response, so as not to cause any movement that could alert them.

Lostcry crept quietly between the boughs, keeping a safe distance from the traveling party. Every once in a while she paused and glanced between her, one paw raised in the air, but no followers were ever detected. At last, the patrol moved off towards the north, and they were left alone on their westward course. Corks, ginkos, cherries, each bough felt firm and solid beneath Lostcry’s feet as she slunk through the canopies. The patrol might still be nearby, she reasoned, and where they were going, followers were unacceptable.
Suddenly, Lostcry gave a low purr and halted, perched precariously on the bow of an ash tree. Her ears perked, and she exchanged a glance with Sungold, pointing at a small, dark figure seated not twenty feet away in the canopy.

Sungold froze and moved deftly onto a shadowed branch. She worked her wat steathly to Lostcry.

Carefully, quietly, she edged around the other side of the tree, working her way up into the higher branches so that she could get an overhead view of her opponent. Crouched among the thin upper branches, she squinted down at the cat below. Startled, and relieved, she found it to be a small apprentice. It stood precariously on the lower branch, ears and whiskers twitching nervously as it sat, trembling slightly with anxiousness.

Sungold stayed out, crouching unseen in the shadows. (I was taking a shower sorry)

"It doesn't matter where you were" She hissed "Your fighting skills are seriously lacking" She flipped herself sideways, dragging him along with her, rolled over and heaved upwards with her hindlegs, flinging him across the camp. Before he could recover she was on top of him, her beautiful yet terrifying face twisted with anger.

Here it is Quinn.

Darkclaw gulped, and stared wordlessly into her face.
