My WH babies arrived bright and early this morning!...I ordered 5 and they sent 6...They all arrived in great shape (Thank you Metzers)...When I peeked in the box they were all sitting on their heat pack...so cute...They had eaten every bit of the Gro Gel I had ordered for them...They are all eating, drinking and already growing I am sure!...I will try to get pics later if our sun ever comes out!

I must admidt, I am kicking myself for not getting a different drake. I shold have ordered either a WH or BW drake instead....

Oh well, I will love them regardless!

They arrived, my friend already piced them up and has been sending me pics!

Ruby takes over the mothering ..... evidently she has been standing gard around the brooder and keeping the other animals away form it, ever since it was brought out and set up.

I am going over there tonight after work and we are going to try to get better pics....after they settle in a bit.

I can't wait.... this is going to be a LONG day!​

I have welsh harlequin eggs in the bator.. but so far only my runners have hatched

I now have WH coming out my ears. I tried to see if one would go brooch and let them build up a nest of 33 eggs. Decided no one is sitting on them so I would put them into the incubator. Next week I had 4, yes 4 decide to be moms and they put another 15 or so eggs under them. The broodie moms have had a great hatch rate and I had about 16 hatch for me. No one on craigslist has responded to my add, probibly just the wrong time of year so I have 20 ducklings added to the flock. Mommas have lost a few but are doing ok.
