ALRighty, it's still not completely put together but the thought process is that Sparkshine had to leave after Canopypaw's birth and I think the cat that made her have to leave was Cloudfur. She probably wanted the deputy gone for a lot of reasons, like making the clan weaker and easier to corrupt and Sparkshine might have known that Cloudfur was with the Dark Forest. So bare with me, I'm gonna write the thing and see how I like it XD

BUT WHAT ABOUT THE BODY
Sorry, I just had to point this out. If Cloud was to make this plan plausible, there has to have been a body, Sparkshine's body, correct?
If there wasn't, how would the Clan believe that Spark died from Canopy's birth?
Sorry, again, it's just something I noticed.

Yeah that's my main issue! I'm thinking there's definitely some twistly lies that had to be used, I'm thinking Sparkshine went out of camp for Canopypaw's birth and Cloudfur had to explain what happened to her body. I'm thinking she'd use the excuse of a fox or an owl grabbing her because both of those are know to be common in the territory...

Either way I'm writing a quick thing of what could have happened ya know?

That could actually be plausible. Cloud got this far using deceit and manipulation, she would be entirely capable of twisting a lie like that.

Yeah, I think it could work, we would just have to sort a few things out, I would think.

I love that this has escalated this far and that we're seriously planning this out like OH! But so far I'm thinking Sparkshine just went "Cloudfur you're a traitor!" And Cloudfur just calmly told her that if she revealed it that it would ruin the clan because 1: she's the only med cat, 2: she threatens to poison the clan, and 3: she knows about Sparkshine's old relation to a certain Waterfallclan cat. All this would turn the tables on Sparkshine and make her have to do as she says...

Heck, that is so Cloudfur. It really is, and wildly, I am starting to really like this idea...

Also when Canopypaw is all like "I've seen Sparkshine as a Starclan cat" I bet Cloudfur doesn't even blink because she probably thinks Sparkshine just died on her own... I JUST REALIZED THAT SPARKSHINE AND CLOUDFUR ARE PROBABLY LITERALLY HIDING IN THE DEEPEST HIDDEN PARTS OF THE TERRITORY AND I'M SCREAMING. Cloudclan lives in the trees because a lot of the ground floor is so dangerous, like actually Cloudfur probably moved off from this territory because of the danger but Sparkshine is a cool powerful warrior who could make it down there. No wonder she's good at playing dead, Starclan can't see her living body and Sparkshine definitely has to have the ability to slip into Starclan when she sleeps (cats can do this up to 18 hours a day) she's like set! Starclan isn't not gonna believe she's dead because Cloudfur said she was, they couldn't locate her body, she's walking around there, and lastly they're so caught up in keeping Starclan together that they probably don't overly care to double check any of this knowledge...
