Every time I try to write him, he freaks out on Rainstar for allowing needless deaths, which would not go down well lol.

Yeah... that'll get him killed... I honestly sometimes panic and go "WAIT DOES PINECLAN HAVE A MED CAT???!" and then I remember poor Smoketail exists XD
