ROFL maybe... I have never seen crumpets in the store, I tried making some home made ones a couple weeks ago with sourdough starter... it was NASTY!!! never making them again.

Seeing as you have had store bought crumpets Fanci, are they supposed to be super salty? - I love dulse (salty seaweed that grows here for those that don't know) and the crumpets I made were way too much.
