(rockin' out to the Hero of Canton - I thought this was a random character that was all but dead... :/ feel like describing what he looks like? She would have recognized him... and i'm eating :sick )

"This guy is Seri, i think he was like a gate keeper? And I'm not sure who his friend is." she said her voice quieter at the end. "Jayne will you break one of those crystals over Thomas' leg?" She asked, and then checked on the maned guy, (Lion like? or is he a centaur? )

"Oh," Thomas said awkwardly. grabbing the crystal in one hand he slowly pulled off the tourniquet with his other, groaning in pain. He broke it over his leg letting the bugs fall onto it.

Shocked that she hadn't recognized him Tayn stared horrified at the burly mans swollen face. She smiled trying to hide from him how bad he looked, and quoted an ancient lymric to try to lighten the mood a bit. "You got knocked down, but you'll get up again... Is there anything I can do to help?" She asked.

(I guess you want to change his name to Jayn? :lol: That'd be pretty cool, actually. I gotta writing prompt that would fit him. Let me find it.)
 
(No, I meant change Jamie's name to Jayne. I can't find the prompt, but this soldier is sent in a house during a war and told to kill any inhabitants he sees. They've almost got the whole place cleared, but the soldier hears something hollow when he steps on the floorboards. He opens it up to find the wide-eyed family huddled beneath the trapdoor.
He looks left, he looks right. None of his buddies in sight. At last, he looks back to the family and puts a finger to his lips. The door closed back, he gives the 'all clear' and they march on.)
