Reviving it today would be both wonderful and terrible. XD on one hand, I’m pretty upset so that’ll play well into writing a sad character, but on the other hand it would make me even more miserable. XD

That's what I used to fuel my last post for Alice. Also, Kipp actually fighting back. I was a complete wreck. If it makes you feel any better, my Aunt is still around.

I lost Gretel this morning. It came as a complete surprise, and it still hasn’t really sunk in yet.

Uhhh, heh, sorta. The thing she was most upset about was that she would never see summer again. - having been told February which is the bleakest most awful month in winter here. It's nice here now. I was out in shorts 2 days ago. Things are green and growing again. She is in constant pain though, and with lock down doesn't have anyone to really help her use the bathroom.

I've mostly been avoiding calling my mom. I don't really like thinking about it.

Which chickie is she? I don't remember any of your birds having problems besides your Mr. Man.

I’m so sorry. I can’t imagine how hard that must be.

She was my lakenvelder chick. She was perfectly fine this morning, playing, eating, etc. but then suddenly she got sick and died five minutes later.

Yeah. She was going to be my first bird that laid white eggs.

Awww, it always has to be the ones you especially want to have stick around. I've been having a really bad year for chicken losses. All the ones I want too. I set, 15 bantam eggs a week ago, only one was fertile. So I gave 5 more to the new broody and as many as I could into the incu in the hopes that even one of them might hatch. I know my BR roo has been trying to cover the bantams, but apparently he's not very good at it.
