Let me preface with I wrote this intending to put it in PM so SPOILERS COULD BE ACTUAL SPOILERS HERE, Anyone responding to spoiler information put it in a spoiler please.

Do you guys have any ideas for what kind of weapons the Pure might have? The sky isn't even a limit. Hey maybe they've got aliens. Who knows. They could plausibly have something lying around just in case some one like Magneto were to show up. They know they're up against super humans so they should have something.

Abby said that the Silence should still be around, just not in use and the baddies could be put in there if we wanted.

I'm gonna say that the Key only destroyed the one town. It was supposed to be put into a different machine to disperse it world wide. Mapleshade was just desperate so she opened it, affecting only the one area.

Spoiler: kinda need opinions on this but some of you might think of it as a spoiler. SO...

Maybe, anything underground wasn't affected? It would have been airborne. If it wasn't heavier than air, it would have gotten blown away on the wind. Any rain would have slowed it down.

D: The train station..... 0-0 oh, oh no.

There's a way to get everyones attention. Things are settling down, maybe once everyone's had a little nap we can have a giant explosion in town when an incoming train derails.

All the people in hospitals would be having a really bad time. Anyone who required needles to live. or were in surgery... etc :/

It was called the KEY because it was what they needed to make the machine work. So, it makes sense that it would only just be local. I don't know that humans could survive with out any metals. The planet probably wouldn't.
