«We Could Be Legends»

"That could work. How many can fit on it?" Jessi asked.
"It could fit me and one other person." Brisa replied. "I can also try to float someone along with us, my powers are all rested up from yesterday." So the wet-bird-feeding guy's name is Peter. She thought absentmindedly.

"So there are six people, right? I can carry three, your hover board can hold two, what will we do with the last one? I could try to carry four, but I might not be able to. At the very least it would make me really slow. The biggest thing I've carried would be Grace, or Toby & Alpha at the same time. There's also the van. Sorry, I'm thinking out loud right now." Jessi said.

"Maybe the van would be our best bet right now. Do you know how many it holds?" Brisa asked.

(*sings* I'm thinking o-o-out loud, and maybe we found love right where we are... I'll stop now  :p :lau )

"No, I don't. I think it's aunt Tayn's car." Jessi said.

( :lau )

"Is it in the garage? Maybe it isn't the best plan, especially if we're trying to stay quiet." Brisa said.
(Sorry for the short post! I'm gonna head to bed. :))

"Yeah, we could get arrested for stealing her car." Jessi replied.
(It's fine, my posts have been really short too. Goodnight!)

Allowed access by a leniently cracked window, a cool breeze tiptoed across freckled cheeks to whisper dawn's greeting to prone ears.
Ash rolled out of bed, throwing her feet down hard on the hardwood floor. She practically bounced across the room, ever the early bird. She was infallibly the first one up in her house- for one, she couldn't escape the restless gossip of the breezes of a newborn day, and second, she just didn't lock it out either.
Her brunette hair sprung up in delightful knots as she skipped around and pirouetted with the deep forest green curtains to unleash sunlight into the darkened room. Clad in gym shorts and a ratty gray t-shirt etched with a faded deer's mug, she'd run the perimeter of the entire town and then some starting right now if only her husband didn't demand his daily coffee made only the way she could right when she was about to screech in impatience from being kept inside for so long and not a second earlier. And if she tried to leave without waking him, he'd always appear the moment she set foot outside.
Connor moaned a protest and curled into a heap as his wife barraged him with a stream of pillows from some secret stash he was somehow constantly caught unawares by. "Go get Dyn up if you want to go running with someone."
Ash peered back in at him from where she was already twirling gaily through the hallway. "Doubt she's here. I never saw her come home last night."
She flung her daughter's door open without any heed to forewarning any potentially sleeping occupant. She sighed as the immaculate bed confirmed Bleddyn's absence, not concerned but just with a bemused sort of halfhearted disappointment. Sometimes it seemed that her nonconformist teenager preferred her friends' houses to her own- and was there really anything wrong with that? It was good for a girl to have friends that she could comfortably drop in on like extended branches of her immediate family. Wish I got to spend my younger years as she does hers.
Not about to waste a glorious morning on remorseful reminiscence, Ash wheeled back into the main bedroom and plopped back down onto the bed, shamelessly regardless to how she bumped Connor enough that he landed with his head hanging off the opposite edge, body precariously promising to follow. His jet black scruffy mop was sticking out in every direction from all the static it'd been flirting with, but otherwise Connor could've passed for a limp mannikin; Ash still found it impossible to hold the schoolgirlish giggles back at his perpetual reluctance to rise.
"I was right. Bet she stayed over at Tayn or River's. I'll call her home so someone can get his precious additional hour of sleep."
She fetched her phone off of the side table guarded by a bristling marble wolf, swiping all of the attention-deprived notifs to deletion and consecutively being eternally forgotten.
The last time Bleddyn actually had her own phone with her...that girl is hopeless.
Humming a million tunes and not knowing a single lyric, she scrolled through her contacts and tapped twice on River's smiling face. Who wants to text when you can talk and be actually somewhat personal?
She put the phone up to her ear as she was serenaded by the dialing buzzes, and waited.

@Fanci Feathers Marans here be the zion and delilah posts
This is the one where i did a sum up for chickenlady so you'll have to go to it to see those older ones.
here are the Zion Delilah posts as a refresher for anyone that needs them.

@MysticChickens04

Zachary followed Zion and Delilah at a distance hoping they wouldn't notice. He was waiting for them to go their separate ways but it didn't look like that was going to happen. He knew that right now the rest of the team would be trying checking to see if that Wolfram kid had the Key, and he would have to wait to hear back from them before he could do anything with these two, so he waited.

They boy with wings and the fox girl seemed to wander aimlessly. There were roads and alleys they doubled back on. Zachary wondered if they had noticed him following, or if maybe they were taking precautions on their way to where they were planning to hide the key.

He rounded another corner when his radio buzzed. Zachary nearly jumped out of his skin, and quickly jumped back out of sight. That was the signal that they were done at the park.

He pressed the button 3 times, his own signal to get them to come to him.

Zion knows someone is following him and Delilah, he made sure to act like he didnt know where he was going. He also made careful sure that Delilah was very close to him, he didnt want her to know that someone was following them but he also did want her to panic like he was in his mind.
(my brain isnt functioning atm so Ima just leave it here for now)

Zachary waited a moment hoping they hadn't heard his radio buzz. Then, slowly leaned his head out around the corner of the brick wall he was hiding behind. He looked up the alley. The boy with wings was gone. Zachary grunted a sigh, he would be in trouble if he lost them. He jumped out into the alley and started jogging to the other end. Dumpsters and old torn bags of garbage lined the alleyway, his boots squelched in the wet debris as he ran.

Zachary slowed to a walk about halfway up the alley, as a thought occurred to him. With all the wandering they, in this weather, they must have spotted him and were just trying to give him the slip. He stopped and looked behind him. The winged boy was trying to sneak out the other end of the alley, where he had just come from.

Zachary turned and ran all in one quick motion, back toward them. Pulling up his lower face mask he yelled, for them to stop. Taking them both on by himself wasn't optimal, but they had obviously spotted him, and he couldn't let them slip away right before everyone else showed up.

Zion turned around on the heels of his feet once he heard the man's voice. He watched him run up to him and his sister intensely. Hoping his yelling wouldn't wake Delilah up and startle her.
What does he want? Zion thought to himself.
Somethings going to happen. I better prepare for whatever it is. He thought.
"Is something wrong?" He asked the man.

Zachary was surprised he had just stopped and turned around. He wasn't supposed to interact with them on his own, he was just supposed to watch them. He stopped abruptly to not plow right into them. "Uh, y-yeah. No?" He took a breath unsure how to deal with him. He glanced down at the small fox he had curled up against his chest. Surely she couldn't be carrying it. "She was at the IHOP earlier. We, I- I mean I need to talk to her about it." Zachary's heart was racing, he had never approached an Inhuman on his own before, and he was sure this guy who was taller than him, could fly off with him. He had to be careful until the rest of the team showed up. He smiled nervously up at the bird boy.

A sense of paranoia kicks Zion right in the stomach, this man is scared of him, he could tell from the look in his eyes. He was glad his mother taught him how to read people's feelings just by how they act. Zion is scared, but he realizes he needs to use his demeanor as an edge. He straightens up, glances at Delilah in his arms then stares down at the man.
"Wha-" He clears his throat.
"What do you mean?" He said while flapping his wings a bit.
"Why do you need to talk to her about it? You don't look like a cop to me. My mother already talked to her about it and she's paying for the damages. The situation is solved, what could you want with my sister?"

Zachary shifted his feet and lifted his hands spreading his fingers wide, last thing he wanted was to fight this guy on his own. "N-no, I'm not a cop, but," He paused trying to think of what to say, "That guy at the diner, he...." And suddenly it popped in his head what he could say, "He, stole something from us, and we need it back. It's possible, your sister has it, so we just needed to check." He chuckled nervously, smiling too big, and shuffled his feet again trying to get ever so slightly further away from the guy who now seemed like a giant bird of prey intent on eating him.

A small part of Zion wants to believe this man, the other part doesn't. Just so he can settle this and get the heck away from this man he decides to take the makeshift robe-bag off his shoulder and go through Delilah's robe and leg. He gets on the ground and unties the robe, still holding a fast asleep Delilah in his one arm. He rummages through Delilah's robe pockets with his wings spread around him and his sister protectively, every so often looking up at the man.
(Delilah doesnt actually have whatever it is right? I just wanna check because I have like 1 working brain cell atm)

(Nope.)

While the winged boy was crouched over the things on the ground, another masked person, a tall woman, who had blood pooling just above one of her brows, rounded the alleyway entrance, raised her dart gun and fired. The dart hitting Zion squarely in the side of the neck. She seemed to bristle with anger as she strode up the alley way, kicking off garbage that stuck to her foot.
Zachary was surprised by the sudden appearance, but didn't complain when the winged boy fell over, from the effects of the dart.

******

Startled awake by a face full of soggy paper, I looked around disoriented. Zion, was laying next to me, his face half hidden by the folds of my robe. What had happened? I looked up to see a woman dressed in black coming toward me, I wanted to run, but I couldn't just leave my brother, what had happened? The woman raised what looked like a gun, and fired, I didn't have time to run, or ponder what had even happened, as darkness quickly enveloped me.

******

"Come on." She growled. "Grab the rat. And help me drag this guy, before the cops spot us."

Zachary quickly picked Delilah up curling her limp body in his left arm, and grabbed Zion's wing shoulder with his other hand. "What about their stuff?" He asked, though he wanted to ask what happened at the park he was expecting more people to show up.

She grunted, though it sounded more like a growl to him, and grabbed the edge of the robe, hoisting it and over her shoulder it's contents contained. "You happy?" She asked snarling, and she roughly grabbed the other wing of the boy on the ground. "Lets go!"

(Alright @MysticChickens04 , They can wake up in a cell of some kind, together. it is now Sunday.
@Cluckcluck1215 , @RiverStorm , @AMERAUCANAS4REAL , and @HeavensHens88
Wolfram and Lachlan are in a nearby cell, and Sherri is in an adjacent cell, Bleddyn is not present she's being repaired :p she's strapped to a bed in an infirmary, when she's brought back she will be put in the same cell as Sherri....... AND go! :ya Phew is everyone in Sunday now?)

(oh, right I was going to add, Delilah being so small in her fox form, isn't going to wake up from the dart.... she's not dead, but unless some one wants to take over she's lost her brain, and I not up to writing her.)

And River mentioning Gage, but she didnt realize the Emily was at the Ihop. So he could have totally tagged along.

River nearly typed IHOP, but quickly decided against it. Gage would be there, and the less he caught wind of this, the better.
"The park."
River glanced up at the teenagers. "Looks like I'm going with Emily and the Enchanter Indigo to find them. Alice, Camilla, I saw you take pages of those files. Anything that can help on them?"
"I... Took the one with the snake man on it that says 'Pure'." Camilla said.
