«We Could Be Legends»

River looked at them funny as they jumped on the couch. "You do know I'm a wolf, right?"

River nodded. "This way." She walking into a kitchen, pulling out some pasta out of a cabinet.
"Yah, people are different. You don't know how many times I've been chased when I shifted." Emily started assembling ingredients. "An animal that may want to bite you with sharp, strong jaws and is more than twice your weight and may want to bit you, is not something you want to share a house with."
She began assembling ingredients.

Toby jumped, and then sighed. "This is why I try to avoid people interaction, because they have tendency to scream randomly." He hissed at Jessi. He looked at Emily and Sherri. "Alpha isn't going to attack you, even if you tug at his tail." Toby said. He was kinda freaking out inside, because he was sitting in a room full of people he embarrassed himself in front of. He nervously glanced around the room. Nobody bring it up, nobody bring it up. He pleaded silently.
Sherri crouched up there arms around her knees, fear in her big green eyes. "Are you sure?" She hissed, not sure weather to believe him.

"He's a service dog. He's trained to be in situations where people will bug him and not bat an eye. I can prove it, but I'd rather not harass my dog." Toby said.

Alice decided no one had heard her ask to look at the second folder, so she moved the top one away on her own. Inside was a faded but white piece of paper with a staple in it. Across the top in bold print was the word PURE. Then below was a picture of the man with the scary eyes. His name next to it was Gerald Thane. there were pages stapled to the back detailing his work history, he was part of the military about 20 years ago.

There were other pages behind him all with the same set up Pure across the top a picture and a name, and then stapled on pages describing their past job history. most seemed to have been military. At the very back was a single page not stapled. It was a black and white photo, of a woman with half dark, half light hair, and cat ears. Across the top was written IMPURE. Alice picked up the paper. "Uh, Wolfram is this the person you were talking about?" She asked handing him the paper.

(did you miss my comment to him before Alice came inside?)

(sorry been on the phone all day I was trying to keep caught up here... while on the phone. :p )

Alice looked back at Toby who was out in the drive way as she stepped toward the door.

"That shop owner at the park, she said that woman was an enchantress. I didn't notice at all, I don't even remember most of what she said. I guess you had the right idea to get out of there." She shrugged holding the folders against her chest, "She had some information on those other guys too." She pursed her lips in a small smile. "I think we're going to look at it if you're curious." She shrugged again and stepped inside.
(here it is)

(Toby goes back in time)

Between the radio playing & the windows rolled up, Toby didn't hear her talking to him. He was staring at his phone while he was waiting for Jessi to decide to leave.

"He's a service dog. He's trained to be in situations where people will bug him and not bat an eye. I can prove it, but I'd rather not harass my dog." Toby said.
"Ok," Sherri slid fearfully next to Alice, eyeing Alpha warily.

"What makes this woman impure? It couldn't be being Inhuman, the leader certainly doesn't look normal. Is it her cattiness? Nah, why would they segregate cats. She looked back at Wolfram."

Toby was almost tempted to make Alpha go up to her, but he decided it would be too mean & he didn't want to freak her out any more than she already was.
