"I didn't see much nearby when I was out there before, but to be honest I wasn't looking real hard. I would be happy to explore the area with you." She replied although she was unsure about how helpful she would be if he wanted help hunting. But either way she would help she thought to herself, she didn't want to be dead weight.
 
"We should probably try to find some basic medical supplies and some warmer clothes while were at it." Nora added thoughtfully eager to add to the discussion.

Gjoran nodded, and got up from the log he was sitting on. He grabbed his makeshift weapon and said "Let's do it." While he didn't want to leave the fire, he would have to do it eventually and leave the comfort zone. He wasn't quite sure if he trusted her, but she seemed nice. Maybe a bit meek, but she seemed determined yet calmed and collected.
 
"Alright lets do this!" Nora said as she clapped her hands together and got up, slightly sad she had to leave the comfort of the fire. But they needed food and better clothes. She didn't know him well but she surprisingly felt safe around him, he seemed so sure of himself even in this scenario. "Could you teach me later, how to make a fire and stuff?" She added as they headed out into the weather, "I'd like to learn so I can take care of myself and so you don't have to care all the responsibilities."

Gjoran smiled at her enthusiasm, and headed out the cave next to her. He nodded as an answer to her question, saying energetically "Of course. Thanks for wanting to try to carry your own weight." He hoped "Hopefully we find a firearm."
 
"My dad taught me how to shot when I was a kid, although I haven't touched a gun since he died. A gun probably would make it easier to hunt, if any game is still alive." Nora pondered that for a minute, wondering what else was still alive, other people, animals? "Which direction should we head, any ideas?" Nora asked.

Gjoran smiled, and said "You lead the way. We have no idea where we are going." He chuckled and waited for her to choose a direction to head, his eyes alert.
 
Nora scanned the horizon trying to see if she could see anything promising in the distance. She thought she saw something dark in the distance to the east against the stark white landscape. "Lets go east, I think I see something over there. Might be nothing but its a start. Think we'll find a nice little house fully stocked with hot water and a roaring fire?" She asked with a wry smile and a laugh.

Gjoran nodded and began heading east before laughing at her comment. He added happily "Yeah, maybe there's a boufett there as well, made specifically for us." She brightened the mood, that was for sure.
 
"Hmm as long as it has bacon I'm happy." Nora replied with a laugh and then groan as her stomach grumbled at the thought of fresh bacon. They walked in companionable silence for a while. She wondered while the walked how this all started, the ice and how she came to be there. She also wondered if they would find anymore people, she was just happy to have found someone who she got along with.
