*°Hell as White as Snow°* (A Role Play)

(Just an fyi to everyone Nigel is from before the Nazi regime so he would not necessarily have a huge problem with Dierk. I made sure to triple check this with my DH the creator of Nigel and a huge history buff. So I am just going to wing it here. :D )

Nora looked up at Ian with a shake of her head at his question. "I know he was going to take a walk but I have a bad feeling he isn't coming back to be honest. He was in a weird place when he left. Perhaps I could go with just Nigel then to the houses? Or I could take one of the women with me, if you would feel better staying." Nora added reasonably.

Nigel quietly slipped up to our conversation having listened to all that was going on with confusion. He was still a touch overwhelmed from the previous day and its revelations. "Pardon me but what is a Nazi? I assume it is in relation to that German soldier, and the strange symbol he is wearing?" Nigel asked quietly but curiously to both Nora and Ian. Honestly confused about the whole situation, but he gathered that many of them were uncomfortable around this new man the "Nazi".
(I know ;) But Nigel would have been fighting the Germans, so there's still got to be some tension XD)

"That's not a bad idea," Ian said, nodding his head slowly. "Some of us should head over to the ice sometime today as well, see if anyone else is alive."
Hearing Nigel's question, he looked to Nora. "Care to explain? I think you'd know more."

(Well yes they were fighting them, i dunno I wracked my brain over how he would react for a while before asking my DH what he would have done had he still been playing. And he said that he would have made him indifferent, so I guess I am just going to go somewhere in the middle. , lol I am so clueless. Nora is going to give him the most vague explanation ever, because reasons. :lau)

"Alright I guess see if any of the ladies wants to come with Nigel and I when we go to the houses, so you can stay." Nora said with a nod in his direction. When Nigel had come up and asked about the Nazi Nora froze. She was not sure how to answer that to the best of her abilities, it was a complicated subject. She turned to Nigel to attempt to explain what it was, muttering under her breath about Ian not being a help in this department. "Well after the first world war there was a second one with Germany. They formed the Nazi party as it was, so yes the German soldier is a Nazi. But best not to call him that directly, OK?"

Nigel listened to her explanation before he glanced over to the Nazi in question. He had been sent to fight some Germans during his first battle in the war. But this one carried himself differently, he wasn't sure how he felt about him to be honest. He made the others uncomfortable so he didn't trust him. He'd keep an eye on him he thought to himself. As he nodded to Nora in thanks for the explanation, such as it was.

(WWII was 800 years before Ian's time, so he's a little rusty on the subject  )

Janette made her way over to the groups, curious to hear what they were discussing.

Ian smiled with approval for Nora's explanation. "Okay, that'll work I guess," he said, returning to the previous subject. He did want to get out at some point to see what the houses were like. "Do you wanna go?" He asked, looking to Janette.

(Still need to find Gar's slave boy :p )

(No excuse! lol  )

Nora turned to Janette hopefully, she was eager to get out and start the supply run. But she would rather have two people with her then just one, more arms to carry. Not that she minded Nigel, he wasn't too bad.

Nigel watched the others as they arranged who was to be going with himself and Nora. It was all the same to him, they were all strange to him so it didn't much matter which of them came along. Nora was nice, as was Ian, he wasn't sure yet how he felt about the others.

"If I'm needed, then sure, I'll go," Janette replied after a brief moment of hesitation.

"Good." Ian glanced over his shoulder at the newcomers and Madeleine. "And if it's all the same to you, I might see if they want to check out the ice," he said to Nora.

"That works for me, if you are both ready to go then I say lets get moving." Nora said to both Janette and Nigel with a nod at Ian in agreement for what he suggested. She was hopeful things wouldn't blow up while she was gone, she had faith that Ian could keep things running smoothly though.

"I am ready to depart whenever you would like." Nigel replied simply with a dip of his head.

"There est little else to do ici," Madeleine said simply, hoping that would dissipate any worry he had of bothering her.

"Ah, okay then. Well, at the moment I'm just finding it hard to believe that we lost the war. Ich tried mein best to have faith, but now there ist not very much of that anymore. I just...Ich just thought that this whole plan the Führer had in store would work." Dierk tried to explain, though right now he was finding it difficult.

"Ich am sure of the answer to this question, but...Does the Führer have any honor anymore? Or ist it all seen as ein crime in your time?"

"Nothing's keeping me here," Janette said smartly.

Ian returned to the fire to join the others.

(There ya go; I was wondering how long he was going to keep his perfect English  This conversation is going to be pretty amusing, with the two of them and their messy language)

Madeleine wrung her hands nervously as she prepared to tell him the fate of the Führer. "Dierk," she said gently, "vôtre Führer est dead. Il killed himself when le war was lost." She glanced up at him, watching for a reaction as she continued in a rush. "Et non, few people have respecte pour him. Vous only know le good deeds he did pour vous et vôtre people, but il did many terrible things to those not German."

Ian returned to the fire to join the others.

Nora gestured for them to follow her then as she lifted her empty pack and headed out into the snow. She knew the direction of the houses from the day before, and figured it would be a few hours brisk walk at least to get there.

Nigel Gestured for Janette to follow Nora ahead of him happy to bring up the rear.
