*°Hell as White as Snow°* (A Role Play)

Ian swallowed hard as he looked down at the baby. His hand instantly went to his mouth, the shock of the image hitting him hard.

"Mon Dieu," Madeleine murmured, her reaction the same as Dierk's, only in her own language. She stepped closer and extended her arms for the child. "May I?" She asked tentatively.

Bobo felt almost ashamed as he saw and heard all of their reactions when they saw his sister. Though he couldn't do anything to nurture her more, for he didn't even have anything for himself, he still felt responsible for this little life his mother left him with.

He hesitated when the woman with the strange accent requested to hold the baby, feeling protective of her around these strangers. But, she was only a woman, and this group appeared kindhearted, so what harm would it do? He held Sabah out for the woman to hold, and allowed her to take the baby in her arms, but he watched cautiously with careful eyes.

Janette nodded her agreement with the suggestion. She slipped both arms into the backpack full of food supplies and turned to go.

Nora nodded at both of them before heading off in the direction back towards the cave. She led the way, happy to have been able to come out and get the supplies for the group. She wondered how things were going for the rest of the group. She was also concerned that she still had yet to see any sign of animal life, not even a bird.

Nigel followed along behind Nora, happy to be heading back to the group. Mostly he was just happy to be going back to the cave. he was not suited to this kind of cold.

(Aww man guys I tried to Keep my DH character Nigel alive, but I just can not connect with him and make him feel like he is meant to be. :he Help me brainstorm a creative way to make him disappear. )

Sighing softly, Madeleine took the child in her arms and held her close to her chest. "Oh vous poor darling," she murmured. She slipped one arm out of her jacket sleeve, followed by the other, then wrapped it loosely around the baby. Warmth was the first step if they had any hope of saving her. "Ve must get her back to le cave," she said, glancing around the group.

Ian took his own coat off and held it out to Bobo. "Here, put this on," he directed gently. Both of the kids were terribly dressed to be out in these temperatures.

(It must not be a useless death, that's for sure XD )

Janette trodded on ahead of them, eager to avoid any conversation right now. She didn't want to talk anymore about anyone or anything. Sick of the continuous snow and problems, she turned her thoughts to her most recent case: her mother. Of all the times to be whisked off to a winter wonderland, it had to be when she was just nearing a turning point.

When Ian had offered the coat to Bobo, he appeared to be speechless and hesitated to take it for a few moments, wondering if for some reason Ian wasn't serious with his offer. He just was not really used to others wanting to help him, and being so able to.

But, he took the coat eventually, with a nod of his thanks and a quiet murmur. It felt so warm once he had put it on, it was honestly more clothing than he had ever been allowed to wear. Wearing it felt rather awkward, since it was very loose on Bobo's skinny build, but it still made him more comfortable than ever.

"How long haben sie been out here?" Dierk questioned worriedly, looking to the young man who could surprisingly hold himself up well with those sticks people would refer to as legs.

"Uh..." Bobo was confused at first, not fully understanding partial English or German, but he eventually got the gist of what Dierk was probably trying to say.
"I-We...We been here for days, after waking up on the ground far away from here. Don't know what happened...I tried to find others for so long. I am not dead, am I? This is not the heaven my mother spoke about. Or am I in..." Bobo's voice quietly trailed off into nothing as he thought, baffled by the whole situation. His biggest concern was placed upon his sister's well-being, so he stopped thinking and looked back to Madeleine cautiously, wondering if his sister had passed yet, and hoping to God that she hadn't.

Ian listened intently to the boy's words, which were masked in a strange accent. What could possibly have deposited numerous people of so many different times completely baffled him.

Madeleine cooed and murmured to the child, holding her close as she would have done her own. "Vat est her nom?" She asked, glancing over her shoulder at Bobo.

(Do you want her to die?)

(Oh don't worry Gar and I have planned something awesome!)

Nora and Nigel walked side by side on the way back to the cave. They didn't talk but the silence was not strained. As they walked Nigel looked out across the landscape, everywhere was white, as far as the eye could see. Then far off in the distance he saw a black shape or two, they were too far off to see clearly but they almost looked like people. He stopped in his tracks to try and see them clearer, but they were gone again. It had been so quickly he couldn't be sure what he saw.

"Nigel, you ok?" Nora asked when she noticed he had stopped and was looking off across the horizon.

"Hmm? Oh yes it was nothing, I am fine. Just thinking of home is all." He said quickly as he jogged to catch up. They weren't too far off from the cave and he wanted to get warm. He didn't want to bring it up to Nora as he wasn't sure what he saw.

(That's what I was planning, but at the same time now I would kind of feel like a jerk.)

Bobo was confused about what this woman was trying to say, and was going to question her about what she had said, but he eventually figured out her words and chose to reply.

"Sabah." He replied shortly, "...Can I tell you my name...?"

(Oh goody! )

Returning to the present situation, Janette looked over her shoulder hear what the others were conversing about. "Everything okay?" She asked.

(If you don't mind playing her a little longer, this could be fun XD)

"Sabah," Madeleine said softly as she looked down at the girl. Lovely name, and certainly one she wasn't familiar with. She looked back at Bobo. "Oui, mon chéri," she agreed quickly. That was going to be her next question anyway.
