*°Hell as White as Snow°* (A Role Play)

"Alright." Aya agreed and approached all of the preserved humans, some of them already obviously dead like a chick who gave up on breaking their shell and some whom she wasn't sure about yet.
Strangely, Madeleine was a lot calmer than a mother who had lost her child should be. She was, naturally, worried about her daughter's whereabouts, but she felt an odd peace about it, as if somewhere in the back of her mind, she knew her daughter wouldn't be found here, but that she was okay. "Is your brother alive?" She asked, looking around.

Aya looked to her brother, who, oddly enough, wasn't awake yet.
"Well, I'm not sure. I guess I should check..." She muttered and approached Thomas's body. She took precautions first and removed the random ancient-looking, broken and rusted chainsaw from his hand that obviously wouldn't work an ounce. It looked rather painful as she had to pry the metal away from his palm, leaving the skin red and raw, but it was better than him knowing he had a weapon.
He was already "dethawed", so she was able to lift up his head and look at his face.
His glasses were cracked, his eyes slightly open, and his shallow breath was visible in the chilling air.
She partially didn't want him to wake up, but she was his sister, so it would be cruel to leave him like this.
Giving him a gentle/kind of not gentle slap to the face, Thomas opened his eyes almost immediately.
She immediately let go of him, his head falling back since he didn't even know what was going on and hitting the thawing ice behind him.

"Eugh..." He groaned as Aya stood and stepped away from him.

"Hey, Thomas, you need to get up." Aya demanded sternly, sounding more like a bossy stranger than a sister.

He slowly sat himself up, confused, barely able to see with his broken glasses.
"Wait..." He took a few seconds to recall who she was, "Aya...Is that really you?" He asked tiredly with disbelief. Aya sighed,
"Yes, it's me. Now my God, get up."

Jade turned to see what the man was speaking of. She felt stupid for not looking there first, but to be honest she didn't remembered seeing those blocka of ice until the man pointed them out to her. "Yes, of course." She replied, hesitantly moving closer to the the frozen people.

Dierk, with his "let the men do it" mentality, walked ahead of Jade since he could tell she was wary of this situation.
"What does this...Uh...Paxton? What does he look like?"

(Shouldn't Aya be running from her clinically insane brother?)

"Dark brown hair, blue eyes, tall build." Jade recited easily, the remembrance of Paxton one that couldn't be forgotten. She walked over to blocks of ice lined in rows, and reaching the closest one wiped the fog from the ice's surface to more clearly see the face of the person inside.

(Aya is attempting to be as normal as possible, and hopes that due to the fact he is absolutely confused and probably not remembering too much that he'll be okay for awhile.)

Dierk listened to her description of this man intently, but frowned at how little information that was. Their eyes were closed, and there was no shortage of tall, brown haired people. But, he decided to look for possibilities anyway.

He examined all of the poor people frozen solid in blocks of ice, but none of them seemed to be what Jade wanted. Though he never asked her, he just assumed the person would be in the same age range and if tall was worth mentioning, it would be significant. To his disappointment, this group seemed to only have people who were strangers, and weren't of any use.

Madeleine watched with interest for a moment before moving on to other blocks, or partly thawed blocks. Spotting something resembling a person, she hurried over to see up close. "Salut," she said as she neared Ian.

Ian turned sharply to face her, surprised but not disappointed to see another human being. "Hi," he said, looking from her to the direction she had come from. "Who..? Wha—where are we?" He asked, concern lining his face. "I thought I was elsewhere, but when I woke, I was here. Obviously."

Madeleine shrugged and shook her head in the negative. "Je ne connais. I just woke up myself," she replied. She turned slightly o nod towards where Aya was. "Il y a another woman. She woke near the time as I."

"He's not here, they must have put him in a different place." Jade announced determinedly, not giving up the hope that Paxton would be found.

(Gar, are you too busy to play Han on Human After All? I'm really looking forward to playing Artemis :D )
