Nora opened her eyes to stark whiteness. It was too bright and she closed her eyes and took stock of how she was feeling. Her limbs were numb and she was chilled to the bone, the dampness of her clothes only made the cold worse. She ached all over like she had been hit by a truck, and her mind was fuzzy and she was having a hard time recalling what had happened to her. As she listened to the wind whistling by and felt the biting cold she thought she must be in hell and it has just frozen over.

Gjoran added some more sticks to the fire, making smoke flow out farther and farther. He then began sharpening his weapon again.
 
(Since Gar isn't on and two of my three are at a standstill, I guess I'll start with my newbie, Janette...)


Janette shuddered slightly under the thin layer of melting ice. Her eyelids fluttered open and she looked around above her, panic gradually increasing on her face as she comprehended why she was so cold. Freezing, actually, and she had a splitting headache. She groaned softly as she moved her arm slowly across her body, resting to make sure limbs weren't broken. She sighed with relief as she painlessly flexed her arms above her, then pushed herself up carefully. A chill went up her spine as the cold air hit her more directly in her upright position. Bringing her knees towards herself, she folded her arms around them and looked around.

Nora sat up and opened her eyes once more taking in the frozen landscape. She noticed behind her a few large chunks of ice, on closer inspection she noticed people frozen inside. She recoiled back and covered her mouth with a gasp, had she been frozen too? She looked around the other direction and noticed what looked like smoke some ways away. Since she saw little else and she would freeze if she didn't get out of the weather she slowly pulled herself up and headed that direction. She didn't know who she'd find but she figured she would take her chances, at least they had a fire.
